If you love someone..

If you love someone
You will always Believe in him...
Always expect the best of him...
Always stand your ground in defending him...

......... the reality, do we able to do so?

Encouragement

Song of Solomon 2:15
“Catch for us the foxes, the little foxes that ruin the vineyards, our vineyards that are in bloom.” (NIV)

It occurred to me that this situation was a metaphor for our marriage. One day everything looks and feels wonderful. We go out of our way to do special things for each other for the sole purpose of seeing the other one smile.

Then the beetles, or as Solomon says ‘the little foxes,’ take over our lives and eat away the joyful moments. The children whine, the dog throws up, the washer breaks, and supper burns. When he gets home, I ‘greet’ my hardworking husband with a scowl and jump right in to tell him how horrible everything is. All he can see is the shadow of the joyful wife he left in the morning.

I hate when I focus on the negatives and forget that I am here to support and provide tangible love to my spouse and family. Thankfully God provides a fresh start each morning. I can ask for forgiveness for yesterday’s failings (from both God and my husband), and I can focus on the blossoms of today’s joy. Yes, things will go wrong, but I can manage my attitude so the day isn’t ruined. I want to shoo away the negative attitudes so that my husband comes home to the peaceful place and loving wife that he deserves.

My Prayer for Today:

Lord, I thank You for Your amazing creation – yes, even the Japanese beetles. Continue to remind me that our troubles are only temporary, and that Your love is eternal. Help me to focus on Your blessings and to keep the world’s little hassles in proper priority. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

Plants

Mom likes to plant any flowers that she thinks nice to see.. So at home, there are lots of mixture of plants.. no themes or category to split it into.
My mother-in-law also crazy of plantting flowers, she has lots of varieties of orchid, my husband has the photos.. which he used to practice his photography skills. Now she is crazy of the roses, but the blooms are small size not like those sold in the flower shop. I wonder why as in Ranau, its cool as in Cameron Higland where they plants flower, but it doesnt seems to grow well.
My father-in-law has a good hand in planting too..whatever he plant, it will grow n bear fruits. I had a good time eating mangosteen planted near the house.. This year hope his durians jadi..so i can enjoy eating durian as much as i like. Jambu kampung pun ada...
I still prefer cactus.. ngam with my small apartment space. I hadn't see any blooms now a days, maybe becoz of the rainy days.. or tak cukup baja. I had a pot of rose given by mom-in-law.. hope it will blooms, i add in few types of baja, for leaves and growth. Hahahaha..simply mix it together and hope it does something good for the roses.

Gardens

At my small verandah.. i squeeze all my plants.
I am so crazy till almost every Sunday i go to the Gaya Street to shop for Cactus. That aunty, dont even want to give me a changes to bargain for her rm3 cactus. Sometimes its just an experiance..i buy and then i care for it..care too much till it dies..then buy the same type n try other way to get it live longer then the first batch. Thats how i learn how to take good care of the cactus. Sometimes i'm success and sometimes fails at it.
The cactus in the pic, till now it has bloomed 3 times now..and it stays about less than a week and goes dry n falls. Isnt it beautiful?

Bukit Tinggi

I went here for the company trip...i cant remember when but was this year 2006...
I always wanted to go there..but then..its a dream comes true,
but a bit disappointed as its only a few meter stretch and fulls with shophouses n motels, The only interesting part of it is the environment.. feels like in france..heheh...Apart from that, there are few other places that we went to, the Japanese garden..i like this the most.. and the rabbit farms.. i saw a dead rabbit near the fence..i wonder if anyone ever notice that.

Eight Below

Last nite, i watch 'Eight Below' movie.
Its a very sad story which was based on a true story about the courage of the sled dogs and the explorers teams in Antarctic. I remember well the sled dog pack leader, Maya, Shorty, Max, the twins, old Jack, Shadows and few others...
Its very sad to think of the good, loyal animals to men, which in the ends gets nothing out of it.
Stranded in the snow, tied up colar .. the sled dogs managed to stay alive and make it through the winter and waits for Jerry and teams to come back for them. Even not all 8..as Jerry said "almost..".
The story is based on an actual 1957 Japanese expendition.
Jerry Shepard stars as the guide who spends months working in Antarctica with his beloved team of 8 sled dogs.
Right before the winter, they are assigned to bring a geologist, Davis to search for a meteor. After a treacherous trip to the meteor, word comes that a storm is moving fast and the team has to be out of the base camp immediately. Davis pleads for a few more hours and Jerry reluctantly gives in. Finally Davis found what his is looking for and they happily continue their journey back to the base camp. But as the team starts their trip back, a misstep by Davis sends him flying off a 20' cliff. Being rescued by Jerry and the dogs, Davis's appreciation for the work done by the canine crew grows tenfold.
By the time Jerry gets Davis back to the base camp, they desperately need medical attention. Unable to take the dog with them on the flight, Jerry only boards the plane with assurances from the pilot, Kate that she'll land and immediately return for the dogs. When Jerry wakes up in the hospital, he quickly learn no one was able to return for his team.

My very first blog statement

Today, work n work...
I just bought a cooking book on making cakes, jelly and puding.
I love cheesecake, but i dont how to make ones.. To buy, it is very exepensive which i can not afford to buy as when i feel like eating cheesecake. I love those my sister make. She use to go for lemon or blueberry. My dad can wallop few slices eventho he is fussy about foods. Guess he is sweethooth too..
I will share some of those receipies in the books when i have time to type it out and get the picture scanned.

At the moment, i am working on a quilt.. Hope that it can grow as i sew to become a blanket. I started one project last year..but it never finished, because i sew by hand..which really takes lot of time and effort. Some more i do not know how to sew. This year, i have my very own sewing machine.. 'Janome' brand. A japan product.
